The Final Countdown of 2025

Ah, December. Every year, this final month arrives wrapped in that familiar post-Thanksgiving, heading-toward-Christmas hustle that drives the beautiful chaos of life. There are presents to buy, decorations to hang, stockings to stuff, and company to enjoy, whether that company includes friends, family, or furlings.
The temperatures are dipping (well…for the first week of December, anyway. It is Arkansas. The weather is as indecisive as ever), and we’re currently under a Winter Weather Advisory that expired this morning. They said nothing will accumulate, but....it’s Arkansas. You never really know, but they were right this time, just wet and cold.
So, how are all the projects coming, you ask?
Paying the Price — Wintermoor: Book 2
After the move and the shifted debut date, I’m thrilled to say it will be published and released before the end of the year! My final edits are complete, and it’s now headed for its last read-through. All that’s left are some finishing touches and small bits of finesse.
I do have a tentative cover........but you’ll have to follow me on social media for that reveal! (Links at the bottom of the page if you need them!)
Shifting Realities — Wintermoor: Book 3
This gem has been simmering for a while, though it had to slip to the back burner while Book 2 was wrapped up. It’s well underway, and I’m currently aiming for a release in December 2026 or January 2027. The exact date will depend on whether I decide to publish any novels in 2026. I haven’t made the call yet!
Handprints on the Glass — Scenes in the Den Collection
This collection is finalized and currently awaiting proof-copy approval. As soon as that’s done, it’ll be ready for global distribution. I hope you’ll join me for another installment as we journey together through my cognitive landscape.
With everything happening in the world right now, I pray you find joy, peace, and moments of quiet comfort amidst the daily chaos. May your cups be full and your laughter be loud.
Pax,
AMH
