Poetry: Words from Beyond the Veil

Welcome to the Spooky Season. It's the time of the year as the veil thins, releasing creatures from beyond the veil. Autumn’s breath grows colder (or rather a little cooler, living in the South), and the air hums with the restless energy of what lingers between worlds. The ghosts, ghouls, and goblins are out and about, causing chaos and motivating me to finish this installation.
A Spooky Surprise!

Handprints on the Glass, the third installment of Scenes in the Den will be released and available for purchase by Halloween! Continuing the look through the cognitive landscape, Handprints on the Glass continues blending the last 25 years via poetry. Some grief-filled. Some laden with love. Others with pain and anguish. All of which makes up the Human Experience, whether still living or otherwise.
Wintermoor Update:
Paying the Price, Wintermoor Book 2 is in final editing stages now. Release day is still being determined, but it will be before the end of the year. At this point, it's refinement and polishing. I've already got cover art ready to go. Take a peek below! It's not been officially confirmed as the cover, but only minor adjustments from here.... Probably.

Other Works in Progress Updates
The dystopian that I've been fiddling with since COVID lockdown has been an interesting specimen. Every time I pull it back out to add a little here or there, reality aligns a little too much, and I freak myself out. I hate how the headlines give me so much inspiration to carry on the potential prophecy-like plotline.
Here's a general summary:
A new world order steals control after a Post-COVID international conflict, much akin to WWIII. The Harmony rewrote history and wiped the facts clear from the general publics awareness. Now, it's 2253, and the world wakes up after Mother Nature tears down The Harmony's perfect infrastructure. Whispers spread across the regions of hunger, disappearances, and civil disobedience met with force. Tremors ripple beneath the put together facade's and government oversight. The Harmony insists that unity is strength. But, how long can peace survive when it's built on destruction and control?
So, alas, I will be working on this guy. I don't have a tentative release date, yet, because, well... gestures at the crumbling world...
Stay safe. Find peace. Protect your happy.
